My Balkan trip started – quite unspectacularly – at home in Luxemburg. After work, me and my sister Sonia set out for Germany. The weather was fine and there was not too much traffic. We didn't want to waste too much time with dinner, so we had a quick sandwich at Burger King along the way. We drove from Luxemburg via Trier, Kaiserslautern, Mannheim, Stuttgart and Augsburg to Munich. We found our hotel, Hotel Ibis in Garching, almost immediately and were glad to get into bed at a reasonable time. Tomorrow would bring a lot of driving …
